As the Chinese saying goes that birth, aged, illness and death are the essential stages through everyone's entire life. Having struggled in tough all their lives for the society and taking a permanent break of work in the ages of retirement, the old people are inevitably advanced in age and poor in health and they need cautious care with all matters and things in their daily life.
Working in an old people home is kind of social fair and just responsibilities to enable the elderly could be looked after properly. This needs particularly the contribution power from those citizens with youthful vigor to work in an old people home with an unpaid work as volunteers.
The most significant aim of working in an old people home is to let the elderly live out their last years with warm, tender and happiness. All along, this kind of benevolence is highly praised by our Country policy to let the elderly have proper lives and dwelling.
While the jobs of working in an old people home are primarily related to their daily diet, life mood and their sleep or rest patterns as well as medical health. Lastly but not the least, working in an old people home should provide with more social activities for them, such as Folk-dance, Tai-ji exercise, Short out-door visits or Forums. All these activities can enrich their daily lives with colorful flavor and can also get rid of their feeling on loneliness.
One day when we were old, we hope we could have the same picture before us. We take pleasure in the welfare of helping the old people; God helps those who help others. We also wholeheartedly wish that working in an old people home would bring forth happiness and joy to them.
中国俗语常言道，生、老、病、死是人一生必经历的阶段。力尽一生劳碌奔波为社会，而在退休的岁月作出永久的下岗，这些上了年纪的老人们是不可避免年老体弱的，在他们日常生活起居上，所有一切的事、物是需要小心谨慎的照顾。
在一个老人之家工作是社会公义的责任，使年老的可以老有所养。这尤其是需要年青力壮公民的贡献力量在老人之家当无偿志愿者的工作。
在一个老人之家工作最重要的目的是让年老的温馨和幸福快乐地安享天年； 一直以来，这样的福利善行是被我们国家政策推崇，让年老的能老有所养、住有所居。
然而，在一个老人之家工作基本是关联老人的日常起居饮食、生活情绪与睡眠休息方式，及医疗健康；
最后，但不是可缺的，在一个老人之家工作，应该为他们提供更多的社会活动，例如：民间舞蹈、太极拳锻炼、短程户外访问或论坛。所有这些活动可以让他们的日常生活多姿多彩，还可以排解他们孤独的感觉。
当有一天我们也年纪老了，我们希望我们能够有相同的景象在眼前。天助好生之德的人，我们也衷心祈望在一个老人之家工作会为老人们带来幸福和欢乐。
