China Day——my favorite newspaper
My favorite newspaper is China Daily, It is an English language newspaper which is published in Beijing each week. It has sections of different kinds, including News of the week, the World Today, Language Class, Sports and Music and Students Report. There are plenty of beautiful pictures and interesting articles in it. I enjoy reading the paper. I read it to improve my English. I have learnt a lot of new words and useful expressions. Besides, I can get information about different things, from politics to sports and music. China Daily is very popular with students and English learners.
I like it for many reasons. First of all, it’s very useful. There are many different sections in the newspaper. I can know the political situation, the weather, the important events and so on. Secondly, by reading China Daily, I can not only increase my knowledge but also keep up with the time. Finally, in my opinion, the most attractive advantage is that it’s in English. I can learn a lot of new words from the articles. I can also practise my reading skills while I am reading it. It’s very good for an English learner.
In a word, China Daily is a very useful newspaper and I like it very much.
