She often dreamed of having dinner with her husband in an expensive restaurant. Day in and day out, she had been dreaming of her desire to come true. God helps those who help. She really waited this day becoming a reality.
One day, her husband for the sake of showing his love, spent a night to share the dinner with her in an expensive restaurant at the city grand hotel. She was really delighted with her unexpected good fortune that her dream would be right before her eyes. She found out that this restaurant was no doubt a high-sounding and impressive one with top elegant vogue, and all the guests were in gorgeous clothing.
To the feeling on her mind, the entire atmosphere of the restaurant was an extremely grand and fine spectacle so far she would come across in her life. All of a sudden, lot of fears sprang up from her heart and held down her mood. Her face got white and depressed, and felt restlessly as if with an ant in her pocket. She got no ways to enjoy the splendid of the delicious foods right before her eyes. She finally realized an expensive restaurant with extrinsic elegance was not the right place to meet the happiness and joy. She was finally awakened that the extrinsic elegance was only good for oneself to show-off one's wealth.
She thanked a lot to her husband letting her chances to know the truth of “all that glitters is not gold”.
We learnt from this story of the couple that we should always keep a sincere heart on dealing with things. Don't just head for any kind of vanity and forget about the sincere heart of our own.
